Underwater sound of Dutch river (hydroponic).
Aanlegsteiger bij Bokhoven
A boat has just sailed along this jetty. My hydrophones hang just below the water surface.
What do you hear;
1] moving the jetty along the posts caused by a large ship propeller.
2] waves and bubbles.
3] animals that scrape alga from stones. I do not know which animals but there are a few options such as the black crab, American crayfish, European crayfish and fish. Who knows may say.
4] moving small pebble stones by USO’s .
5] and more unidentified noises.
6] small fish (2-3 cm) hitting the hydrophones. Sounds as hard bumps.
7] me coughing
There is no one around and no water birds are swimming. Anyone who still thinks you don't hear much underwater is mistaken.
