12 noon in a calm mountain village.
I made this recording at 12PM in Morillon, a small village in the French Alps.
It’s a quiet time. In the background, you can hear a crow, some birds, some people talking and eating in their house (it’s hot and the windows are open), and a helicopter flying over. At 1’20’’, the bell of the nearby church rings 12 times. Then, at 3’15’’, a man goes out from a house, and the bell rings again (12 times) at 3’40’’.
Recorded in July 2020 with an Olympus LS-P4 and a Rode Stereo videomic X (SVMX).
Fade in/out applied in Audacity.
