    Getting Specific Hospital Equipment Sounds

    Hello,
I joined Freesound back in 2014 but haven't had a chance to really explore until a few weeks ago when I decided to share recordings of my mother cat and her first and only litter of kittens.
I've always been interested insound design and making soundscapes, specifically in certain areas that involve science and technology, and even more specifically, medical technology and research.
Part of the work I'm doing is with speech synthesisers, which will act as virtual performers, like the one in this YouTube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjMwGWdqHVQ
Anyhow, I've found it extremely difficult to find very specific sounds of various hospital equipment, making me wonder if there was any way I could record them myself or hire someone to do it. I currently have a limited supply of sounds, mostly for MRI machines, but I'd like to get some of a CAT scanner, S/PET, linear Accelerators, and cobalt machines, and stuff like that. It can be recorded with a pickup coil (to pick up the electromagnetic waves being produced), a contact microphone to record the moving of various parts, and a standard dynamic or condenser microphone to record the ambiance of the room and the reflections it makes of the machine operating.
Is something like that possible? If so, I'd greatly appreciate any advice!
